The JPI AMR Call on Diagnostics and Surveillance 2019 – equipped with approximately 20 million Euro – is for innovative research projects on new or improved diagnostic and surveillance strategies, tools, technologies and methods to detect antimicrobial resistance. Selected projects should address the diagnosis of AMR infections in the hospital and veterinary settings or the surveillance of AMR in humans, animals and the environment. The call has a special focus on low and middle income countries in Asia and Africa.
JP IAMR expects to contribute with this call to an improved understanding, monitoring and detection of AMR. The call has a two-step application process. The first deadline for the pre-proposal is February 18, 2019 (11:00 CET). The full proposal is due June 17, 2019. Representatives from JPI AMR will also be present at the AMR Conference in Berlin in March.
