Thinking about how to fund AMR activities

How can AMR innovation be financed? A development dialogue paper by the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation and the ReAct Initiative attempts to answer this question.

The paper, entitled "Antimicrobial resistance and sustainable development: A planetary threat but a financing orphan" is based on contributions from a meeting that took place in December 2018 to discuss how AMR activities might be financed. Participants came from a variety of organisations including national governments, multilateral and bilateral institutions, civil society organisations (CSOs) and academia.

Although it is early days yet and discussions were mainly inconclusive, meeting participants outlined five clear areas for further work.
