Hosny El-Adawy is Ass. Professor of Poultry Diseases at Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. He became from 2009 until now a scientific researcher at Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut – Jena –Germany. Scince 2020, Dr. El-Adawy appointed as Head of National Reference Laboratory for Campylobacteriosis (thermophilic Campylobacter) and National Reference Laboratory for Bovine Genital Campylobacteriosis (BGC). His PhD was graduated from Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. The PhD was on “Thermophilic Campylobacter in the commercial turkey flocks in Germany”. He had been working since 2013 as scientific researcher at Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut, Institute of Bacterial Infections and Zoonoses, Jena, Germany. He has involving in a research project with Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut, Jena, Germany and Pakistan and Egypt funded by German federal foreign Office, Germany. Moreover, He is involving in the submitted project between Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut and university hospital in Germany and faculty of medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt funded by BMBE in Germany and STDF in Egypt. Furthermore, he is coordinating scientific project with Palestine Polytechnic University, Biotechnology Research Center, Hebron in Palestine funded by BMBE in Germany. He is coordinating different scientific work of postgraduate student in Pakistan, Vietnam, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, India, Uganda and Kenya. He has published many articles in different scientific Journals and contributed to several proceedings in different international scientific symposiums. He has published widely in the area of Epidemiological studies, Molecular diagnostic tools and Antibiotic resistance regarding to poultry diseases, zoonotic and Food-borne pathogens.
