Francesca Chiara

Francesca Chiara brings over a decade of experience addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in international and cross-sectoral contexts. She has led initiatives to strengthen antibiotic stewardship, improve AMR surveillance, and advance evidence-based policymaking. Francesca has worked with organizations such as CIDRAP, the South Centre, WHO, and Wellcome, contributing to policy development, program management, and capacity building. As Chair of the Board of Trustees for The AMR Narrative, a patient-led charity, she is dedicated to amplifying patient perspectives and elevating public voices in AMR advocacy.
