Andreas Diacon

Professor Andreas Diacon is a Swiss physician with a special interest in tuberculosis. He has been involved in clinical tuberculosis research in South Africa for the last 20 years. He heads the Science Office at TASK, a clinical research site organisation focused on clinical studies with novel TB treatments, vaccines and diagnostics. Prof Diacon has been involved with the clinical development of many novel agents that are currently rolled out in new regimens. He continues to contribute to efforts that promise to make TB treatment more effective, safer and affordable for all that need it.
