Hatim Sati
Dr Hatim Sati is a medical doctor and a public health technical officer at the World Health Organization’s Impact Initiatives and Research Coordination Unit-AMR Division. In his current role Dr Sati leads a number of global research initiatives aimed at setting global priorities for the research and development of new antimicrobial medicines and other products and ensuring equitable and affordable access to exiting ones. Previous experience includes clinical medicine, and later on communicable diseases surveillance, prevention, and control across over 22 countries in the WHO region of the Americas. Dr Hatim Sati holds a medical degree From the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Sudan (2005), an ECFMG Certificate and Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.
