Helerin Eiche

Dr. Eiche is a quality assessor for biotechnological medicinal products at the Estonian Medicines Agency. She is also a member of the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Biologics Working Party (BWP).
As part of her work with the BWP, she leads the drafting group responsible for establishing a quality guideline for phage therapy medicinal products. The goal of this guideline is to support the development of these promising antimicrobial therapeutics. Through this work, Dr. Eiche contributes to improving the regulatory landscape for innovative medicines. She earned her PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Tartu.
