Jean-Baptiste Perrin

Jean-Baptiste Perrin is a veterinarian epidemiologist. After a PhD in epidemiology at the French national agency for food safety, he served more than ten years in the French and the German Ministries of Agriculture, dealing with the surveillance of animal diseases and zoonoses. He joined the European Commission in February 2020, first to work on EU food safety policies in DG-SANTE. He joined HERA in 2022, where he ensures the coordination of AMR initiatives, within the Unit in charge of “Intelligence gathering, Analysis and Innovation”.
