Katie Young

Dr Katie Young is the Healthcare System Transformation Lead at the World Economic Forum, based in Geneva. Katie co-leads the Forum’s AMR work, focusing on sustainable financing mechanisms. With experience in evidence-based policy analysis and stakeholder consensus-building. She is a physician by training , having worked clinically in the UK and Italy, training in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, during which she was heavily involved in clinical research and efforts to evaluate and improve healthcare delivery. She also holds and Masters in Health Economics and Policy from the London School of Economics.
