Dr. Olivier Menzel is Senior Health Advisor at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), responsible for strengthening health systems, R&D, and Access within the SDC’s Health Section. Before joining the SDC, he worked in the public and private sectors in business management, strategic partnerships, life science research, philanthropy, and Patients and Public Involvement (PPI). He founded a renowned Foundation (BLACKSWAN Foundation) to support research and the scientific community in rare diseases worldwide. Dr. Olivier Menzel holds a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from the EPFL, an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Lausanne, and a post-master certificate in public health.
