Oxana Rucsineanu
Oxana Rucsineanu has a Master in Public Health and a Licentiate in Education. Oxana is a DR-TB survivor herself and is leading a patient-led Civil Society Organisation in Moldova, which provides psychosocial support, peer education and activities to end stigma, focusing on the rights of people affected by TB, comprehensive approaches to TB care and engaging communities in research and development. She is committed to advocating for constructive partnerships and efficient treatment processes as well as to making TB voices heard in the national and global TB response. Oxana is an active member of the TB National NGOs and Key Affected Populations Platforms, Country Coordinating Mechanism and TB and HIV National Committee of Experts in the country. Regionally and internationally, Oxana is affiliated to TB Global Community Advisory Board, Global Coalition of TB Activists, TB People, South Eastern Europe Regional Community network (SEE-RCN) and World Health Organization Regional Committee of TB, HIV and Viral Hepatitis (RCC-THV). Furthermore, for several years Oxana is providing specific consultant services and has experience in collaboration with the WHO Europe, TB Europe Coalition, and Eurasian Harm Reduction Association etc.
