Pierre Dubois

Professor of Economics, Toulouse School of Economics

Pierre Dubois is professor of Economics at Toulouse School of Economics (Université de Toulouse Capitole). He is currently director of the TSE Health Center (https://www.tse-fr.eu/health).

He is also fellow of the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London (2013-), co-editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association (2021-), director of the CEPR IO Program (2022-), Senior Member of Institut Universitaire de France (2022-), Member of the Conseil de la Recherche of the Toulouse School of Economics (2023-)

His work includes research on industrial organization, demand models, household behavior, health and pharmaceuticals, food demand, development economics and applied econometrics.

Pr. Dubois received his PhD in economics from EHESS Paris. He has been assistant professor at the University of Montréal, has held visiting positions at Berkeley and Northwestern University and has been visiting professor at Harvard University in 2015 and 2019-2020. He has also been managing editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization from 2013 to 2018 and scientific director of the Toulouse School of Economics from 2015 to 2019.
