Rachel Freeman
Rachel Freeman began her career as a microbiologist and is an infectious disease epidemiologist with 18 years of experience in antimicrobial resistance (AMR). She leads IQVIA’s Antimicrobial Resistance Centre of Excellence, delivering a data‑driven, cross‑sector response to the global AMR challenge. Rachel has worked across healthcare, academia, public health, and industry, and is a strong advocate for multisector collaboration to address global health threats. She leads engagements with governments, global organisations, academic partners, and the life sciences industry to advance the use of real‑world data and evidence in policy and practice. Rachel represents IQVIA within the AMR Industry Alliance and the Infection Management Coalition, and she serves as a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Antimicrobial Resistance.
