Dr. Arrazuria is Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, with a background in microbiology and immunology. She has dedicated her career to developing animal models of infectious diseases. She received postdoctoral training at the University of Calgary (Canada) and the University of Texas Medical Branch (USA). She is currently a researcher in the Microbiology Division at the Paul-Ehrlich Institute (German Federal Institute for Vaccines and Biomedicines). She is actively involved in the AMR Accelerator capability building COMBINE project and her work focuses on the development of a standardized mouse pneumonia model for antimicrobial efficacy studies.
