Saskia Janssen is a dedicated researcher and consultant in internal medicine and infectious diseases, focused on improving outcomes for tuberculosis (TB) and HIV patients in sub-Saharan Africa. Her current work focuses on the development of phage therapy as a novel treatment for TB. She has successfully secured a Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Global Fellowship and is coordinating an international collaboration to advance clinical development of phage therapy for mycobacterial infections, aiming to make it a safe, effective, and accessible treatment option for resource-limited regions.
