Subhendu Basu

Subhendu Basu is a biopharma executive with over 20 years of experience in infectious diseases, immune responses, and advanced anti-infective modalities. He is the CEO of Telum Therapeutics, leading strategy, product development, partnerships, and regulatory positioning. Previously, as President and COO of Adaptive Phage Therapeutics, he helped establish the company as a global leader in bacteriophage therapeutics, raising $115M, scaling operations, building GMP manufacturing, and advancing multiple clinical programs. He has held roles at Emergent BioSolutions and served as Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Subhendu holds a PhD in Immunology and Pathology.
