Victoria Rutter

CEO, Commonwealth Pharmacists Association

Victoria was appointed as the first CEO of the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association in 2016. Her dedication has significantly increased the charity’s footprint and workstreams, supporting safe and effective use of medicines in lower resource settings, including pioneering the highly commended Commonwealth Partnerships in Antimicrobial Stewardship programme. She has led advocacy for the profession and in particular their role in tackling AMR in numerous high-level policy forums, including as the civil society representative on the Commonwealth Advisory Committee on Health, and was recently elected as Chair of the Commonwealth Health Professions and Partners Alliance. Prior to her role at CPA, Victoria led both pharmaceutical service and workforce development through international collaborations in London and Singapore, developing an extensive global clinical practice portfolio.
