Yeung-Hyen Kim

Dr. Yeung-Hyen Kim is a biopharmaceutical R&BD executive at iNtRON Biotechnology, leading R&D across the full drug development lifecycle from discovery and translational research to clinical development and CMC. His expertise spans antimicrobial, immunology, and microbiome-based therapeutics, with a focus on host–microbe interactions relevant to antimicrobial resistance and immunomodulation.
He has advanced biologics and live biotherapeutic products, including engineered LBP platforms, from target discovery through global clinical development, including IND submissions and regulatory interactions with the FDA and EMA. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. from Leiden University and held Research Fellow positions at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Michigan before gaining industry experience at Samsung Electronics and biopharmaceutical companies, including Medytox and Liveome.
