Tom Loughman

Qualified with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and a diploma in company direction from the Institute of Directors, Tom Loughman has over 30 years’ experience in end-to-end pharmaceutical product development, and most recently led a start-up tech ops / CMC organisation taking a new infectious disease candidate through clinical development, FDA approval, and US commercialisation. He has been a board member of Helperby Therapeutics since June 2025.
