Dionysios Neofytos
Dr Dionysios Neofytos is an Attending Physician at the Division of Infectious Diseases, Transplant Infectious Disease Service, University Hospital of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland. He completed his training in infectious diseases and internal medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia to later join the Transplant Infectious Disease Service and Faculty of the John Hopkins University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – Cornell University between 2008 and 2013, before joining the University of Hospital Geneva. He also completed a Master of Science in Public Health at the Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA. He is actively involved in clinical research in the field of viral and invasive fungal infections in immunocompromised hosts, presenting his work at international scientific meetings and conferences and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and books in the field of infectious diseases and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
